Ambers and spices
For a more original fragrance, perfume families Amber and spicy will give you a decidedly sensual look. These are the ideal fragrances for a special occasion or an evening with friends. A little provocative, Ambre fragrances from Bon Parfumeur have a special place!
Do you know the origin of the word "amber"? In perfumery, it doesn't come, as you might think, from amber stone, because this fossilized resin has absolutely no odor! Yes, you're entitled to another try... The term "amber" actually refers to the warm, sweet notes extracted from the resin produced by several plants. Vanilla perfumes, for example, are highly developed amber fragrances, as are benzoin and many others!
The Orientals
For a more pronounced character, the family of oriental perfumes emanates warm, rich, captivating, and sometimes even sweet notes. This family is created from smoky notes or resinous amber, and often presents facets called "animal" because they evoke skin, leather... Indeed, oriental fragrances are known and appreciated for their sensuality. The oriental olfactory family arrived late in the composition of French perfumes, but today represents a significant part of creations.
The gourmands
In a completely different register, the perfume family Gourmand is highly addictive and brings back a certain old-world magic, like a freshly baked pastry. Praline, coffee, cotton candy, vanilla, caramel, candy apple, chocolate, marshmallow... You can almost taste it! Are you more of a salty palate? That's not a problem, in the gourmet fragrance family, we also offer savory alternatives. In short, these are fragrances with taste notes, an olfactory family invented by Bon Parfumeur. Like a treat, a guilt-free pleasure that we love!
The woods
More classic, the family of woody fragrances is also widely represented on the market. Traditionally misogynistic (they were long reserved for men), they have finally given way to unisex notes. Widely used in perfumery, woody notes "fix" the fragrance in the base notes. This is a technique commonly used by contemporary perfumers. Woody perfumes are generally quite strong. They are composed of combinations of various woods (sandalwood, cedar) and plants (patchouli, vetiver). It is therefore possible to create rich fragrances (with patchouli, for example) or drier ones (with cedar, in particular). This family is appreciated for its eternal elegance.
Aromatics
At Bon Parfumeur, we like to stand out! That's why we created the Aromatic fragrances , also composed of raw plant materials. Although sober, aromatic fragrances bring a touch of subtlety for absolute elegance. It is a blend halfway between woody fragrances and Cologne perfumes . Classy, right?
There Aromatic family includes lemony, menthol, camphor, aniseed and lavender notes. Among the olfactory alliances of the Aromatic family, we find thyme, star anise, chamomile, tea, tarragon, mugwort, basil, rock rose, sage, lavender, marigold, rosemary, peppermint... Many condiments that can be used in cooking, and which work very well in perfumery. Imagine eucalyptus, coriander and cypress... You have your Aromatic perfume 701 !
The aquatics
Another Bon Parfumeur creation, the aquatic fragrances ! The aquatic accord is very recent: it appeared in the mid-20th century, and gives decidedly contemporary fragrances. These aquatic notes are associated with fruits, flowers, citrus, herbs, and woods. They are generally used as main notes to create that vacation feeling from the very first sensations! Aquatic fragrances particularly evoke summer and warm places. They are ideal for enjoying iodized scents and sea breezes all year round.
